Think & Grow Rich, Redux

Re-reading #ThinkAndGrowRich; still in the first chapter & the text made me think of this:

Think & Grow Rich

The book is more about thinking than becoming rich.

It’s primarily about mental toughness discipline & emotional intelligence – and I can see a direct connection between it and Vince Posente’s book. ‘The Ant & the Elephant” (which deals with the conscious [ant] & subconscious [elephant] mind – & the process of getting those 2 aligned in the pursuance of goals.

One’s goals & dreams can be spiritual, lifestyle-oriented, financial, et al – but they usually don’t come easy or fall into our laps. There will be obstacles & struggle – you can COUNT on it.

Thus the process of disciplining oneself to align your conscious & subconscious thinking becomes a MAJOR plank within the strategy of achievement. In this instance (as in most of life) DISCIPLINE = FREEDOM.

You should go ahead & read the book. Or, if you’ve read it, re-read it! And, as you’re reading, begin to formulate your dominant thoughts, goals & dreams. Keep them foremost in your mind as you apply the principles outlined by Hill.

Taking your leadership to consistently higher levels is usually not an easy task – that’s why many quit trying along the way (it’s easier to think negatively than positively). An that’s also why you need the discipline component if you’re to succeed.

Define what you want.
Learn what you need to accomplish it.
and then DO it (#JustDoIt).

7For as [a man] thinketh in his heart, so is he;
~Proverbs 23:7

“Our doubts [thoughts] are traitors,
and make us lose the good we oft might win,
by fearing to attempt.”
~William Shakespeare
